I've been very pleased with those programs (along with Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy). I would like to suggest my friend do the same thing instead of using the s-ware that came with his computer. So, would this also be good advice for a Vista machine (does AVG and Zonealarm work with Vista?) Mel.

Vista looks and feels very nice. Though I prefer not to use it 100% on the web without antivirus software. Symantec AV 9 corporate starts to install well enough though right near the end it stops, saying it was interupted. Anyone experienced the same? Any work arounds? Any AV products working?

Need a good Vista 64 fully compatible anti-virus program I don't mean to be a pest, and I can't answer your question... but I would seriously like to know why you think you have to have this. Big family or a large office with a shared PC? Just curious.... Virus protection is needed no matter how secure Vista is.
